I'm very goal oriented and push myself hard to get as many things accomplished as I can. I enjoy learning about other cultures, languages, and new ways of doing things. I've been to many different country's around the world, most of the states and lived in Japan for two years. I've managed to forget almost all of the Japanese I knew so if you can speak it and want a friend, I'm your man. Living in southern California is a great opportunity for me to study Spanish and I'm taking advantage.

I take health and hygiene very seriously. I watch everything that I eat religiously, cook all of my own food, which is a lot of fun, like chemistry class with less chance of poison/fire/explosion as a result...but still possible :) exercise with weights daily, run 5-7 miles a day. I took dance and gymnastics for six years before switching over to yoga and Kenpo so I'm very agile and flexible. I shower and brush twice a day, floss, I think clumsy girls are cute and graceful girls are elegant.

I'm passionate about music. It was my dream for most of my life to go to Juilliard and become a great musician. I took piano lessons when I was a child, played saxophone in my high school marching band for four years, and taught myself guitar and bass, own a violin, never learned to play it. I don't practice or perform music as much as I use to but I enjoy listening to all kinds. I have found that every song has a time and place so I keep my ipod stocked with thousands of different styles from various periods. I sing in the shower, car, anytime I think I'm alone, lots of tongue and lip exercises have really improved my voice and I don't need to carry an instrument around with me, plus remembering hundreds of lyrics is a good mental exercise as well as a great source for witty remarks. Old songs are the best for that because no one seems to know where it's from and yet sounds familiar.

What to say about myself? I always seem to have a problem writing into these little blurbs because there's always much more to say. A condensed version will have to do. I'm a student and I recently turned 18, but I have always felt myself to be more mature for my age. I'm a very introverted person and it shows. I do work so im not a bum or anything im really open minded and really laid back. I hate to argue and i like to hang out and just laught lfe is way to short to be mad all the time.

I'm awful at writing these, and even worse when it comes to reading others. I'll put it out in the open now, if you're looking for a good time with some stranger you talk to online, move right along. That stuff is definitely not my scene.

I'm a college freshman at a school that I won't name and I can't wait 'til I can transfer. I'm big on movies, tv, music, all that media related shit. I'm a hard ass filipina who talks a bigger game than I can bring. Compared to most people I know, I'm pretty straight edge, but that just means that I'm not out getting shit faced every weekend; sue me for needing a break every now and then. I don't censor myself as much as I should, which tends to lead to me offending people or just saying shit I don't mean.

I am a ride or die Lakers fan and have been since birth, practically. I have nipped a potential relationship in the bud because the guy was too into the wrong team. Don't worry, there were other factors involved, I'm not THAT big of a fan.

I speak in sarcasm, movie quotes, and a plethora of swear words. I have a sailor's mouth, but one of my absolute biggest pet peeves is when people unnecessarily use "fucking" when they come to a lag in their train of thought. Like, when someone is telling you a story and they can't remember some detail so they just say "fuckin. . . you know." That, to me, shows a lack of intelligence. If you're a person who does that, back the fuck up now.

Truth be told, I have a lot of heart and a hell of a lot of drive. Think whatever you want to think about me, go ahead and base your opinion off of a 500 word "about me" paragraph.

Ima Tattoo artist I love music of all kinds but I prefer to listen to Rockabilly,Psychobilly,Classic Rock and some Metal.I like hanging out with friends and just chillin or going out and having a good time. I do alot of activities like jet skiing,quading or going out to baseball games.Not really into the whole club scene but I go every now and then.

Having two young boys limits the amount of personal time I have but it also allows me to focus on what I do like to do when I'm not getting dog-piled or whatever.

I'm an avid reader (about one book every other week) who currently works in the automotive industry, selling parts for European cars and classic Chevys. I grew up in San Diego and moved to Los Angeles for a job. It didn't work out as promised, but I learned from the experience.

I blend into the background fairly easily. It's not something I'm embarrassed about, nor do I cultivate it. I enjoy just hanging out with friends and watching the world spin on its axis. I can tell a good story and fictionalize my personal history, but why bother?

I golf. I read. Once tried doing them simultaneously. Didn't work out well, but can't discuss it on advice of attorney. Pending lawsuits and all.

I have a dark sense of humor. It started with the slapstick of the Three Stooges, but that proved to be a gateway comedy into the harder stuff. Soon I was mainlining Monty Python and freebasing George Carlin. It wasn't until a friend discovered me passed out on the couch, Richard Pryor's "Live on Sunset Strip" on loop-play in the DVD player, that they staged an intervention. Now I get regular doses of Patton Oswalt and Eddie Izzard to avoid the shakes, if only barely.

I like to think I get along with just about anybody and do enjoy people-watching, although I prefer to do so in a laid-back atmosphere (coffee house, beach restaurant) instead of a club or bar. I do have a competitive side, but refuse to let the desire to win outweigh the need to have fun.

..oh, and I am an atheist. I don't make a big deal about it, but you may want to move along if you're of the evangelical persuasion. Like Mr. Heinlein said, "Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig."

A quiet, somewhat shy, intelligent, reserved, and un-caffeinated man sat down to write an introduction to himself and instead went on at length about how difficult it is to encapsulated who he was in one or two eye-catching, smile-inducing paragraphs. Better suited for novels then short stories, he stopped, corralled his thoughts, ignored his drives toward perfection and relevance, and soldiered on like so:

I love rain, the sound, the smell, and even the feel of it (provided it's my choice to be out in it and I have a warm place to go when I'm done). I love tall trees, their shade, and the forest floor around them littered with moss, rocks, fallen trunks and leaves, somehow cleaner looking than the most meticulously cared-for carpet. The sound of gentle surf or a whispering/babbling creek or stream are my best antidote for a racing mind. Fountains hypnotize me.

The fast and loud only works for me when it's on the movie screen or it's thunder in the sky. I get bored easily but can sit for hours with a book or some other task to occupy my mind. I like to be around people but need only a few to be close to me to be happy. I would rather spend an evening cooking dinner with a date and watching rentals than going to a pricey restaurant and a play.

I am honest, understanding and compassionate when at my best, non-judgmental the rest of the time, funny at random times (chances are I'll make you laugh the hardest when I was trying for just a chuckle), and intelligent enough to never decide whether I'm too smart, or not smart enough.

What can I say? I have tons of interests and always open to new experiences. My main passion is for photography, but I'm always experimenting with different outlets. I enjoy graphic design, illustration, painting, and filmmaking.

Easy going, not in too big of a rush, but always curious. Prefer to be outdoors with dirty hands than inside with clean ones. I'm tired of learning from books and am doing my best to learn through my body and osmosis. I can never see one to many sunsets. My ultimate idea of success would be to have a plant or animal respond in kind to my attempts to communicate directly to their consciousness -that one may take a while...
